Published by Taschen as part of the Eisner Award-winning Marvel Comics Library editorial collection, this tome features the entire 18-issue run of the 1968 Silver Surfer series written by Stan Lee with art by John Buscema (#1–17) and Jack Kirby (#18).
The original comics — printed more than 50 years ago — have been photographed in collaboration with Marvel and the Certified Guaranty Company, then digitally remastered using modern retouching techniques. In particular, as part of a team led by Symmaceo Communications S.n.c., I had the opportunity to contribute to the careful renovation process, comprehending the correction of problems connected with misregistration, missing halftone screens, consistency of colours, and more.
