Bicycle X Bold Slab
Originally launched on Kickstarter in 2020, Bold was my first solo project – a modern reinterpretation of the American standard popularized by Bicycle® Playing Cards. Typographic elements shape the faces, figures, and decorative details, while the back design echoes the rhythm and structure of the iconic Rider Back.
In 2025, five years later, Bold Slab introduces new jokers, updated packaging, and a shift from a classic serif to a slab serif typeface, turning a bold idea into part of the Bicycle® brand’s legacy.
